This summer, Griffith Observatory Foundation invites you to lean back, look up, and experience the wonder of the cosmos through a guided journey into the night sky.

ABOVE returns to the state-of-the-art Samuel Oschin Planetarium with Night Gallery: The Stars of the Summer. This magical program can be enjoyed three times this season and will be presented live by Griffith Observatory Director Dr. E.C. Krupp.

See the summer's constellations and hear the stories behind them in a one-of-a-kind presentation under the dome.

Before the show, enjoy special access to Griffith Observatory, including exhibits, telescopes, and panoramic views of Los Angeles, all outside of regular public hours.

We last presented ABOVE to sold-out audiences in 2024. Join us this summer in the coolest room in L.A.
